| I`ve given up trying to understand the Bush administration with its bizarre mix of obsessions. Who knows whether it was right-wing paranoia, oil, completing daddy`s work, or Israel that prompted Bush`s idiotic invasion of Iraq? And equally, who knows what is really driving Bush`s current obession with Iran? Loads of people in the Middle East, no doubt suspect that Israel is behind it. Publicising this meeting seems guaranteed to reinforce that view. Can`t they just communicate discretely by email, like everyone else? |
