the jewish state is the most fair and internally stable country in the region, by far. sure it has problems, but nothing like any of the countries which have an islamic majority. to change the nature of israel as a jewish state would be to doom it to permanent chaos and sectarianism. besides, arab israelis have it better, more rights and freedoms, than minorities anywhere else in the greater middle east.
