| You raise a very good question -- Is a cow fed on other animals rather than grass etc. kosher? The origin of mad cow disease is that British cows were fed dead sheep, contrary to nature. In France they apparently feed cows recycled sewage! Should we interfere with nature, and if we do so, does this affect the kashrus of the animals; also is it cruel to feed animals the `wrong food`. I suspect avian flu may have come from feeding birds unnatural things. |
