| I believe you have been reading the wrong Book. The Talmud says that if a sanhedrin executes one person in 70 years it has blood on its hands. The Talmudic Sages tried to eliminate capital punishment. Moshiach`s power will come from the word of his mouth. `With righteousness will he pronounce justice for the needy, with fairness will he judge the unassuming of the land. With the rod of his mouth he strikes down the land, and with the breath of his lips he slays the wicked. Isaiah chapter 11 |
