| ....why not thinking about offering Israel a "special relationship" when it comes to generous trade agreements, education, science, etc.... Of course Israel would have to offer something in return for all those "gooddies", a total freezing of the settlement expansion for example and maybe a bit more "creative thinking" when it comes to the search for solutions to the ongoing conflict with the Palestinians. I am sure, if the EU-offer would be generous enough, Israels decision makers would at least be willing to listen. Not only bunnies like carrots, especially if they are coming in the form of $$$$..... |
