| Israeli indecision is a chronic problem. The status of the occupied territories is an outstanding example. Self-defense by blaming someone else is easy, it can be done with almost no thought, and in Israel it usually is. I`d like to see Israeli politicians as stringent of their own as they are of the EU! I think the EU has been remarkably fair, supportive and patient with Israel. The attitude, too often encountered in Israel, that "no one is good enough for me" is pathetic. |
