| Participation with the EU is one thing,it is a great idea but to join it may be trouble since Israel would have to comply with everything the EU says,like allowing people to immigrate to Israel who are not Jews(this could allow all the muslims living in the EU to move here). It could also lead to a one way brain Drain out of Israel to the west, not to mention the potential loss of the sheckle(having to use EU currency which could lead to price rises in everything), but the benefits are good, such as being able to go abroad easier for educational purposes,or those seeking to move to EU countries would have an easier time. The Benefits to joining the EU must outweigh the problems. However if we could join NATO that would be great! |
