I have in an effort to understand the Moslem strategy just what allure the cease fire line established in 1949, and remained frozen until 1967, that put a temporary halt but never any cessation of hostile war like acts or even any peace overtures by the entire Moslem dominated countries has, that it is constantly been the un compromising and supported by the entire Islamic world, the minimum and starting point of any negotiations between Israel and the Islamic nations It is necessary to recognize the origins and the controlling aspect of the Islamic religious mindset. It is indisputable that, according to the teachings of the Koran, any land that has been under the dominance of an Islamic authority even for a short period, and lost in battle to the ?infidel? (according to Islamic law, any person having any belief other than Islam is considered an infidel, or if you are a Sunni to the Shia and/or vice versa ) must be re-conquered by a Jihad, this Jihad has no time limit nor does Islamic law allow any permanent peace treaty which in effect permanently surrenders any such territory to the Infidel. All the infidel can ever hope to achieve to cease from a continual hostile Islamic onslaught, is a Hunda which is considered just a temporary cessation of hostilities. Since the believers of Islam theory consider Islam timeless, so a Hunda for a thousand years is acceptable, but the right to reignite the jihad at any time is predicated upon the belief that such battle can be won and the lands ?Occupied by the Infidels? revert back to Islam rule. In understanding that religious dominated theory, it brings into sharp focus the intractable demand by any Moslem country or by any leader chosen by a Moslem majority, that every inch of territory lost from the so called cease fire lines existing prior to 1967 must revert back to be under Islamic rule, it is irrelevant under what name or country such lands are called, as long as the dominant government authority has its basis in Islam. To accede to such demand and believe for even a moment that the 1967 cease fire lines will produce a written, binding, and ever lasting enforceable peace treaty, is an illusion. To accede to such demand and believe for even a moment that the 1967 cease fire lines will produce a cessation of the continual viperous venom espoused by the Islamic religious leaders in their weekly sermons, is also an illusion. To accede to such demand and believe for even a moment that the 1967 cease fire lines will produce a different curriculum and or a change of teaching material or books being taught in the Islamic learning centers, is also an illusion. To accede to such demand is a sure fire way to have a never ending continual agitation of inciting the Islamic masses to never surrender and continue their Jihad against Israel, even if we should discount the conflict is driven by religious doctrine, and we use western logic, the outcome of continual violence, since the Islamic world knows that any war perpetrated or initiated by them, has no true detrimental consequences, all they have to do is demand a return of all losses suffered by them and with time it will be returned to them, all they really need is ONE yes only ONE victory and Israel will truly cease to be under a Jewish Government for the unforeseen future. |
