| I am glad that you also agree with my analysis, expressed in a number of posts here on Ha?aretz, that Israel is not a modern secular democracy but a militant theocracy. For as you say: ?The denial of basic rights would mean that, instead of being a democracy, Israel would be reduced to an Orthodox Jewish ethnic group with a strong army, compulsory military service, detention centers and prisons, tremendous greed for the land of the natives, and immense fear?. |
