| An invasion would be the worst thing possible and Bush knows it. The enemy is not the Iranian people nor even their armed forces. There is no one to overthrow. It is the nuclear facilities. Iranians are not Iraqis. Iran has a middle class- although quite downtrodden lately due to the economy`s mismanagement with emphasis on nuclear development and support of terror by the mullah regime. This middle class wants a normal society and not at the expense of others as the Iraqis did. There is an Iranian fanatic population but they needed be bothered. The facilities need to be left beyond repair. And Iranian ground to air defensive missile and aircraft must be eliminated first- the US is quite good at that kind of warfare. After the underground facilities are buried the job is done. No soldiers on the ground. Problem is that Pelosi has a big mouth and doesn`t care if it endangers US soldiers. Debating this openly is asking for a much more dangerous mission and more US casualties. |
