| I`m afraid you are quite wrong, Abu Firas. There are plenty of references to the ruins of the Second Temple during the period between Omar ibn el-Khattab`s arrival and the 1920s. You are simply unaware of them. I suspect that you are similarly unaware to the many references to Solomon`s temple in the Hadith. I would recommend that you take a basic course on literary sources for the history of Jerusalem. The sources are predominantly, but not exclusively, written in Arabic. |
