I am a Muslim Palestinian and I came from nowhere but Jerusalem as many other Jerusalemites! From the talkbacks, I sense that the point under discussion is not about a bridge but rather about negating our existence, religion and history and replacing them with something else.
We are here simply because it is our land and not because we landed from the moon to this spot all of a sudden.
I hope the Israeli people and leadership reaffirm the need to coexit rather than to displace and replace because I am not really sure of the outcome of this "replacement" mentality. If today, you have power tomorrow you may not but arrogance sometimes blinds many............ |
