.... "protests" organized by the Islamists and the Arab political leadership in our country: De-legitimizing Israel`s right to exist, in any part of Eretz Israel/Palestine and certainly in Jerusalem.
This is not a "protest" against the building of a pedestrian bridge adjacent to the Wester Wall, entirely outside of har ha-bait (temple mount).
This is instead, an attempt to question Israel`s right to do any work, note, any work in any place in Jerusaelm, and especially if such work, as in so many such cases, the construction will also result in archeological findes indicating once again how much Jewish life and heritage is buried under the stones and soil of this city and throughout this country of ours, going back to the Jewish temple period(s), very very long before Islam came about all together in present time Saudi Arabia and very very long before the Muslim conquest and occupation of Eretz Israel. |
