| According to Benjamin Mazar`s work, the Wailing Wall was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian and that the location of Herod`s temple was some 600 feet to the south, directly over the Gihon Spring. But, not surprisingly, Mazar`s conclusions were greeted by much controversy. |
