| A Jewish school simply accepts that there are no anti-Semitic Jews among the population. Apparently, this may be an oversight. Classes on the Holocaust and on current events should be taught. If Jewish students grow up thinking that Jews are not in great danger due to Islamic fundamentalism as well as traditional European anti-Semitism, then their education has a very large hole in it. Trips to the Death Camps at an age when children can appreciate the horror of the Shoah. Films and lecturers on Israel, its origins and on the Islamic threat should be shown and discussed. Without a political history of Anti-Semitism, a Jew is only partly educated. |
