Looks to me like the Israelis really want to undermine the Al Aqsa mosque. There is no reason to endanger a monument as beautiful as this mosque. And surely, if damaging the holiest Muslim site wasn`t their intention, there would have been plans and engineering work to show what is planned and how it safeguards both, the Muslim sanctity of the temple mount and the structural integrity of the Al Aqsa mosque. In any democratic nation such public works are public knowledge and there is discussion of the works before they are started.
Israel can`t be a democratic nation without acting in democratic ways. We haven`t seen too much of the latter. |
