As mayor of Jerusalem in 1999 Olmert defied the govt of the day tand halted the construction of a new entrance being built for King Solomons Stables also know as the Marwani Mosque to Muslims.
He said the govt. was showing irresponsibility to the most sensitive issues. The archeologists at the time lied and said it was going to be an emergency exit, but instead it was a fancy new entrance to the Stables.
He said they were just trying to change the status quo over there.
WHERE IS HE NOW!? Maybe he`s cearing his name of corruption or from mass murder of Israeli soldiers etc.
