| This is simply another ruse to silence criticism of Israel, to denounce its occupation and its human rights record in the occupied territories as nothing more but a regretable necessitythrust upon the people of Israel by others who wish to destroy them. Therefore, any criticism is illegitimate and plays into the hands of anti-semites or those who are devoid of any understanding of Jewish history or reposne to the Holocaust. Denunciation of Israel`s occupation,according to this logic, borders on Holocuast denial. This is obscene. |
