| In my personal point of view, after I watched to that movie, I cannot say it was an antisemitic movie. What a surprise Indra! Yes, it showed clearly that there were Jews in favor of Christ (he himself clearly shown as a Jew). And yes, showed that there were other Jews against JC(mostly those who cooperated with Roman Empire occupation of Israel- Judea capta!). What it was missing in the movie was the scene were JC has strong fight with the establishment religion-buy&sell at Temple Mountain. I believe this detail is crucial to understand the main reason of Sanhedrin`s antagonism against someone accussing them with Pilatus - Romans are shown as those that in practice tortured terribly and killed JC Now your turn |
