It is anti-semitism when there is a double standard for Israel. Many countries out there practice far worse human rights abuses, including fences and walls, and have less open journalistic practices, but are rarely condemned with the intensity Israel is. (not even korea)Actually the anti israel attacks have now morphed into: is Israel a legitimate country, should it be dissolved. Do you see that applied to the other muslim nations of middle east that do not allow christians and jews to build houses of worship or keep them supressed under possible threat of bodily harm. I don?t see any condemnation of their actions, rather we believe they have the right to run their country as they see fit, and its part of a muslim heritage going back 1,500 years. This same standard is not applied to Israel.
There are many posting like tony fisher, Noek Keijzer, and David James Vickery who imply strongly the jews have it coming b/c of what Israel does. The haters can barely hide their glee. |
