| I visited Auschwitz last year and commend the staff for their efforts to preserve history and ensure that future generations can learn unforgettable lessons about what human beings , at their worst, are capable of. A person who sees the hair, shoes and suitcases is guarranteed to never ever forget what ignorance and hatred created and will vow to never let their heart lead them to such a dark place. I made a small donation when I left, but would welcome the opportunity to support these efforts. |
