| I hope there are many everywhere who are willing to risk their lives for strangers. I hope there exists "righteous" Jews who would give shelter to Arabs in time of need, too. My father survived Dachau and my mother survived Auschwitz. My father liberated by the Americans and my mother liberated by the Russians. Never Again In spite of the violence and hardships between Jews and Arabs, I believe the seeds for humanism have been planted throughout history and it is just a matter of time that they are watered properly. I still believe what is required is a sea change first where Arab man learns to live with other Arabs. In other words, Arabs reigning in their extremists is the key to peace. Salam, Shalom And one does not give a toss about the meaningless, hatefill ramblings of some of the posters to this site since peace will happen in spite of their slants. |
