Israel also invaded Lebanon, bombed villages and infrastructure and killed 1400 civilans. In the last days of the war, while agreements for its end were already in place, the Israelis carpet bombed all of southern Lebanon with a particular type of cluster bomb known to have a high failure rate, thus in affect `mining` the entire region. These cluster bombs have since killed 30 people and maimed 180.
But of course, anti-Semitic incidents are a much more urgent concern than these trifles. |
