| If Olmert manages to push through changes to our electoral system and deny a secret ballot just to suit Peres` presidential ambitions, then the entire Knesset will be held guilty of introducing the rule of institutionalised corruption on a grand scale. After that, Israel will need a successful Guy Fawkes!(joke;|) But that will become the local and international perception of the Knesset`s role and status, and we will truly have become a banana republic. |
