He is aware that without the "Protection" of the Elita he is doomed. So he takes the ousted Chief Laborite to Kadima Party to use his protection. Now it`s time to pay. He promesses Peres, the Chief Elitist, to change the law from covert to overt election of a president for Israel in order to intimidate the Knesset Members.He is actually pushing it even before the actual president is convicted.
