| In Arabic ther is a saying:" Whoever enters the house of Abu Sufian, he is secured". In the culture, people provide security to the oppressed. Yesterday Haaretz mentioned some agression towards some Yemenite Jews in Yemen. It was not the Government who came out to rescue them as should be, but Tribal Leaders. In the 1929 Hebron Massacre, all Native Jewish Hebronites were saved by Moslem Hebronite families. They were hidden in their homes and with their children. It is Humanity. North African Morrocans saved 1000`s of Jews during the Holocaust and they should be recognized. The Arabs don`t absolutely deny the Holocaust, but they believe numbers were inflated in order to create sympathy to the Jewish aggression in Palestine, and to the establishment of Israel. They see the Palestinian suffering as a direct consequence to that event. |
