Could be true -- could be a lie. If it is true, though, I think we can count on Israeli police to not notice any evidence (drag marks, etc) supporting the claim.
Anyway, the central legal problem is that killing Arabs isn`t REALLY murder in Israel. It`s a matter of massaging the evidence and the charge until an appropriate penalty can be assigned. Something like about what you would get for killing your neighbor`s dog in another country. There has to be SOME penalty: culling the Arab population is a function that should be reserved to the IDF and police. Almost everyone seems to agree about that. |
