Why not organize the entire Middle East as a multi-national state with voting and equal rights for all who wish to live there? It will be like the USA of the 19th and early 20th century.
Deport anyone who can not live there in peace. Send them to Greenland to fight - I don`t think there is anyone there anyway.
Base the government on that of the US. Equal representation for each current state in a Senate, and a House of Representatives that is based on population of existing state. Align foreign policy and allow freedom of non-violent speech and expression. Call it the United States of the Middle East. Israel proper can then maintain its Jewish identity, and jews who wish to do so can live wherever they choose in the new ME. Those who wish to live outside Israel proper have to abide by local customs and do so not at the expense of the current citizens.
Is this not the final solution? Guarantees the majority of jews in Israel proper, and the protection of minorities all over |
