With all due respect, all I say to King Abdullah is that he is so painfully wrong. The Palestinian/Israeli dilemma is far greater and deeper than his late father`s sensitivities and political considerations. Millions have been displaced, hundreds of thousands killed, far more than is humane imprisoned and, most importantly, so many basic aspirations wasted. No, King Abdullah, if your father could not do it and you can`t either then leave it to the coming generations who may one day be better able to attend to it efficiently and, I pray, mutually justly - that would be far more rewarding than having to give in to the prevailing current patently adverse balance of power only to see it challenged the first instance fortunes vary. The King says that the Palestinians would be the losers - what does he suggest would be any worse or more to lose than the existing miserable denial they experience. No, the Palestinians have precious little to lose further. Do not continue with the orchestrated tack of disguising wholesome submission as pragmatic advance. Nothing short of reciprocated acknowledgment and assured co-existence will endure.
