| I love the IDF. I`m serious about loving an army that defends my country from our enemies who seek to destroy us - the Arab/Islamic nations who are still hostile to us and the Palestinian terrorists who carry explosive belts and guns and want to kill us all. Can`t you grasp that there`s more than one point of view? And yours isn`t necessarily the right one? Especially such one sided view. The land which Israel is on is ours. It was ours 2,000 years ago and we came to settle here again. Further land was taken from our enemies during several wars which they started, some of it returned for peace. What about the palestinian terrorists who teach their youngs to explode and kill as many as possible, that everyone is a valid target, including children who will "one day serve in the evil IDF". Is your only defence that we "dehumanised" them? And the IDF was mainly composed from the Haganah (The Defence) which mainly protected Jewish Settlements and never attacked. That`s why Irgun was born. |
