I remember going to Shule one Rosh Hashana after an incident that took many Israeli lives.
After our Rabbis sermon on the meaning of the new year and Yom Kippur, I felt nothing but pride for our Rabbi and our people in general as he didnt use the pulpit to speak of hatred or G-ds apparent desire to see our Arab enemies sent to hell. The civility shown in his sermon was the surest way to distinguish ourselves from the blood curdling words so often spoken by the religious leaders of our enemies.
You could take a lesson from this. It is not your place to stir up more upheavel. Your job, if you truely are a Rabbi, is to guide the people in the ways of G-d.
To denigrate a family just because they are Arabs is wrong and until their guilt is shown in having contributed to any wrongdoing, they should be allowed to live without fear.
