Unfortunately for you Yishai and the rest of the settlers (also referred to as "squatters" or colonizers) the rest of the world could care less about what some fairy tale book says. To us (and in due course, my own government will see it this way), the green line IS your border. Beyond it are settlements which are illegal. You may not care about the rest of the world. What if they stop caring about you? what if the US does?
Right now YOU are our protectorate. When the US says jump, you will. And if we eventually come to decide that it`s time to settle this mess in the ME, then the settlers (that`s you) will have to pick up and go back to Israel proper.
By the way, your fairy tales book also recounts the story of how the early israelites were told to slaughter cannanites, all living things included. Why shouldn`t we decide to avenge the Cannanites? your book is full of tales of mayhem and infinite spite for those who are not Jewish. Do you reallly want a discourse on this book? |
