| Al Jazeera is a major step forwrd for the Arab world. There is also an English language Al Jazeera, which is probably no worse than the BBC, affectionately known during the first Gulf War as the Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation. Al Jazeera is increasing freedom of speech in the Arab world and presenting Israel as real people and not stereotypes, a major step forward. |
