The reasons that you give for not talking to Syria are the same reasons that you DO need to talk to Syria. And please, lose this notion of "preconditions" for diplomatic talks. America has also adopted this ploy lately and it is rubbish. It is a method to avoid diplomatic talks without saying so directly. Israel has grown so fond of it, you hardly hear about Israeli diplomacy without preconditions these days.
