It is sheerest rubbish to equate Israeli weapons with Iranian weapons, or to speak of "tolerance" of those who (a) advocate intolerant theocracy, or (b) target innocents for death, without apology, in working to install that barbarous, benighted, and we`d thought abandoned form of rule.
The proper guiding maxim should be: Tolerate all save those who are the first to advocate intolerance and those who target innocents for death. Those who would enjoy tolerance, that is to say, must first be willing to extend it.
As for the UN, the IAEA, and int`l law more generally, it is no more than a sick joke to suggest that Iran under its current leadership so much as constitutes a legitimate, law-protected state, let alone that its routine (and illegal) exportation of weaponry, murder-expertise, and lunacy is entitled to int`l legal protection. Those who would claim the protections of civilization must first be civilized. |
