Ms. Shear should be commended for her courage. Mob rule and intimidation should never be allowed to triumph. I hope that the police will start to see it the same way. The men who assaulted her should have been arrested, as any other violent criminal should be. I am religious as well, but cannot understand how someone concerned with modesty and not touching non-relative women can see their way clear to assault a woman, but not sit next to her.
