| If you want to stop unlawful harassment of women on public buses then: 1. fire the driver for not immediately calling the police. 2. fine Egged 1,000,000 NIS for each time the bus driver does not immediately call the police to report harassment. 3. fire the Ministry of Transportation spokesperson for stating that: "mehadrin lines...are...unconnected to the ministry!" 4. find the guys who did this and throw them in jail. 5. While you are at it find the guy who stopped the 319 bus for over 15 minutes in the middle of the night in March 2005 by putting one foot on the ground and his second foot on the first step until a woman who refused to go to the back of the bus eventually ran off the bus crying. No one on the bus called the police or did anything to help or support her. Turns out the woman was pregnant! |
