It is funny Dave to hear you criticize Lebanon for being divided by sectarian lines. Which I do think is horrible. But I hope you are comparing Lebanon to Canada. Not to the "Jewish state of Israel", or as Carter would call it "Apartheid".
(Besides the Civil rights movement in the US was barely fifty years ago).
So what will you do when no violence hits the streets in Lebanon and all your prophecies are wrong? Lebanon will continue to thrive, and get billions from the donor conference next month.
You should go for a visit and perhaps find Lebanese are not so worthy of all your bitter contempt. |
