I get it... create a problem, and then magically have the solution to make it go away.
Typical of the arabic states in the area. No wonder some of them are only a few generation out of the trees.
Assad will wake up one morning to find that he is being supplanted by nthe same mechanism he is using in other peoples countries, and then it will look good on him.
