| 1. Hizbollah conducted an incursion into Israel and kidnapped Israeli soldiers. This is a violation and Israel had a right to respond. 2. Israel has been overflying Lebanon and intimidating the Lebanese for years, long before the provocation from Hizbollah. Israel has also kidnapped what it terms "security" threats from within Lebanon. 3. Israel responded to the kidnapping with excessive force all out of proportion and decided to decimate most of Lebanon and its infrastructure. This further destabilised the region. 4. Hizbollah offered a prisoner exchange to Israel. Israel turned it down since they dont talk to terrorists. 5. If Hizbnollah is being rearmed from Syria or Iran, why doesnt Israel surveillance fly over Iran and Syria at the source of the alleged arms shipment. 6. If not armed, how will Hizbollah be able to defend civilians against further Israeli agression? |
