As Yakov well knows -- and is frankly all for - Hezbollah has never complied with one item of the cease fire. It has neither released the soldiers it kidnapped and it is involved with rearming itself in direct violation of Resolution 1701. The French as well has done nothing that they are supposed to do. In fact, I do not remember the headline saying "French demand that Iran and Syria stop rearming Hezbollah." I wonder why that is? It is also centuries old established contract law and if one side fails to perform, the other side is released entirely from their responsibilities to perform.
But I too hope that the French fire on the Israelis and then the Israelis blow those sites to Kingdom Come. That will teach the French a lesson since it is only against Israel (and not in Afghanistan or Iraq) that the French seem willing to draw their weapons. |
