| #3. Your points are quite irrelevant under international law and even the law of Palestine and Egypt. When someone is killed, inadvertendly, as a result of an act of self defence, there is no wrong known to law. Israel is not occupying Gaza. And even if it were, this does not under international law justify shooting indiscriminately into civilian areas. Many residents of Sedrot are quite poor Ethiopian Jews who have little practical alternative then to live in Sedrot. The Gazan`s chose a Government which not only tolerates but encourages and participates the firing of rockets at civilian areas from civilian areas. Yes, Israel could wipe out the entire Gaza stip, probably in less than an hour. That`s a ridiculous point when you consider that your complaint is that they killed a number of Gazans as a result of an inadvertant error. In war there are tons of errors. The wrong is intentionally shooting at civilians. If you don`t get that your either impenetrable or have hate in your heart. |
