| I believe all jewish movements are just interpretations. It really just depends on how much you obey various rabbis. Most jews exist in a vast gray area between secularism and "ultra-orthodoxy". They choose to do what they want anyway, so it doesn`t really matter how you divy up the denominations. Asher, the jews DID NOT keep torah for 3300 years in a row. Read the Bible after the book of Deuteronomy. I know that many orthodox practically memorize Torah, but don`t read the prophets for some reason. Strange. Orthodoxy is just an interpretation too, one where the different groups don`t even trust eachother many times. |
