When I go to my in-laws for a Friday night meal, still dressed for the beach, my wife always complains very loudly and insists that I wear a smart shirt and trousers. She also makes it clear that she doesn`t approve of some of my friends and would rather that I didn`t go to the pub with them. Does this make me a victim of abuse?
Come on, what is wrong with asking a partner to dress in a certain way? The key is the intent beind the request. But you should never ask of your partner what you`re not prepared to give or do yourself.
These surveys are totally disingenious. Hitting a woman (or a man) is wrong. Period. So is devaluing another person. But some of the examples given here? Unbelievable. |
