| As someone who had to put a beloved purebred two-year old German shepherd dog to sleep last year I can attest to the fact that puppy mills do not exist in "Eastern Europe" but right here in Israel. The only thing bad breeders are concerned with is making money. Laws do protect consumers from fraud and these are our only protection against the heartbreaking scenario of having to put a dog to sleep due to serious health defects. Not all puppy mill owners shove puppies into cages. Some of them even have kennels in nice moshavim near Lod. Perhaps it would be best to neuter these breeders as they are a disgrace to true dog lovers everywhere. |
