The Jewish people and the torah were indeed a light unto the nations but Israel is a failed enterprize that is supported by fanatic christians who want to see all the jews slaughtered here and then the return of Moshiach. In the meantime Israel will remain a shame unto the nations...
This being said, the whole idea of an occupying force that murders children every day cannot be expected to provide services fore the very same people it seeks to kill, throw into the sea or push off into other countries such as Jordan and Egypt.
