| One cannot conclude that a preemptive attack on Iran by Israel is necessary simply because its whacko leader has said he would wipe Israel off the map--many others have said the same. Kruschev threatened the entire West when he beat the rostrum at the U.N. with his shoe and yelled those famous words "We will bury you!" Hearing this, and knowing that Russia had nuclear missiles aimed at our cities, for whatever reasons, we did not attack the Soviet Union. It would have been destructive to the whole world if we had. Israel would certainly bring on its own doom if it were to attack Iran. |
