The Security Council and General Assembly regularly ignore violations of international law when committed by Islamic parties: the genocide in Darfur, Hezbollah`s repeated refusal to disarm based on a meaningless string of UN agreements, Syria`s assassination of Lebanese opposition figures, Hamas targeting of civilians, Iran`s tearing up of UN resolutions on nuclear enrichment and on and on. |
