| Jews and non-Jews worldwide were shocked, sickened, and angered by the killing of the women and children in Beit Hanun by the IDF. "Accident" or not. I hope the Arab readers here realize this. Because these killings were carried out by Jewish Israeli soldiers, Jewish Israelis soldiers should be leading the protests in Israel. To stay silent implies support. Over 500 human beings have been killed in Gaza. Thousands more wounded. Tens of thousands more emotionally scared for life. The Arab Israelis have respond in a restrained, peaceful, and appropriate manner. If only the other Israelis would follow suit, perhaps we could prevent future Beit Hanun`s. Peace. |
