| Let me be the first on this talkback to note that persistent rocket attacks from Gaza have inevitably provoked Israeli attemps to quell them. GET IT? Civilians getting hurt is exactly what Hamas leaders want, so that Israel`s legitimacy can be openly challenged. Frankly, open, retaliatory artillery attacks on Gazan civilians would not be unparalled in the military history of Britain, the US, or Russia. The Hamas government does not stop the qasasm rockets, so what happens subsequently is also their responsibility. Scream all you want about original and subsequent Israeli sins, but this is all very elementary. |
